If approved by the State of New York, the new curriculum given below will go into effect in Fall 2010.
Changes from the current curriculum and program requirements include the addition of Creating Digital History as a required course for all students; requiring students to take either Introduction to Archives or Introduction to Public History rather than both; the addition of Advanced Archival Description as a required course for the Archives concentration; the addition of Approaches to Public History as a required course for the Public History concentration; and the elimination of certain previously offered electives.
These courses are required for all students in the program.
