The Humanities and Technology Camp at Vassar

THATCamp (The Humanities and Technology
Camp) Pedagogy is now accepting applications. THATCamp is a
free, open “unconference” — a retreat-like space for discussion
and creation. We invite faculty, administrators, research and
archival librarians, and students interested in the confluence
of technology and pedagogy at all colleges and universities to
discuss the rewards and challenges of teaching with technology
in institutions of higher education.
THATCamp Pedagogy will be hosted by Vassar
College
 in
Poughkeepsie, New York on Saturday, October 15th, and Sunday,
October 16th, 2011.

About amandafrench

I have a Ph.D. in English literature; my 2004 dissertation was a history of the villanelle. During graduate school I gained a good bit of experience with building websites, with technology training, and with marking up texts in XML at the Rossetti Archive and the Electronic Text Center; since then I’ve continued to do work (often in university libraries) related to the two cultures of technology and the humanities.
