SAA student chapter meeting Sept. 15

Attention all new and returning students of the Archives and Public History Program:

The NYU Student Chapter of the Society of American Archivists will be holding it’s first meeting of the fall 2010 semester on Wednesday, September 15th from 12pm-1pm at the University Archives on the 10th floor of Bobst Library. Participating in the chapter is a great way to meet other students and network with professionals in the field. All current and returning students (in both Archives and Public History concentrations) are welcome to attend. Please come and share ideas!

I am a graduate of the Archives and Public History program, and also hold an MLIS from Long Island University. I am interested in preservation, metadata, digital humanities, and open access. I completed a masters thesis on pornography collections in academic archives, and am searching for meaning everywhere.
